Tried to come for lunch based on the hours they show available and that they are open but it is not. Definitely call in advance as we wasted our time driving here just to turn back around…the small cafe next door sucks and the service is not friendly either so suggest going to another town nearby instead.

When I asked where the toilet was he pointed out the surrounding landscape, luckily it was a gag! But it still wouldn't have been bad. Oreste is a paxerello innkeeper who may remind Italians of the comedy of Paolo Rossi. He entertained us with a summary of contemporary society from a Marxist perspective. Homemade but well-refined cuisine made with products from his garden, the menu is fixed and decided by Oreste! Thanks Oreste for the dinner, the wine, the landscape, the theater!
