While the local Chinese restaurant entices with a reputation for exceptional dishes, recent visits reveal a mixed bag of experiences. Although many patrons rave about the potstickers and flavorsome meals, others express disappointment over quality discrepancies and outdated inventory, including expired beverages. Service generally garners positive remarks, with staff noted for their hard work amidst challenges. Despite some guests leaving full plates behind due to unpalatable dishes, loyal customers continue to appreciate the freshness and atmosphere. Ultimately, this restaurant remains a hit or miss, appealing to some while leaving others yearning for consistency.

Was User at Peking a mag?
I really enjoy dining at this restaurant. The food is fresh and the service is exceptional. Although they have recently raised their prices, which seems to be a common trend everywhere, it remains my favorite Chinese restaurant. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Peking:
I am thrilled that the restaurant is now open for indoor dining again, but I must mention that I ordered a beer and found it to taste off. Upon checking the bottle, I discovered it was from June 2020. I was disappointed to see them trying to sell beer that is over 2 years old. View all feedback.

I didn't plan on leaving a negative review, but when a customer leaves a full plate behind and doesn't want to take it home, it's clear they didn't enjoy their meal and should not be charged for what they didn't eat. The waitress was very kind, so I feel bad giving a poor review because of that, but her boss took over for her during her break and should have recognized that my son and I were not satisfied. The egg drop soup was slimy, tasteless, and unappetizing. The egg roll was disappointing compared to ones I've had from the grocery store freezer and reheated in my air fryer. It seemed like it had been fried before and reheated. Both my son and I ordered sesame chicken and lo mein noodles. The noodles had a strange smell and lacked flavor. The sesame chicken had an off smell and taste that was unlike any sesame chicken I've had before. We've had mediocre sesame chicken at other Chinese restaurants before, but nothing as bad as this. We drove from Mt. Vernon in search of a good spot to eat, but I would rather go back to one of the places there than return to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant we originally came to Centralia for was closed when we arrived. This was the worst Chinese food I've ever had, and paying $28 for such terrible food is shocking. I left a generous tip for the waitress, as it wasn't her fault the food was bad and she was excellent. I hope she doesn't have to share her tips with the kitchen staff because they did not deserve it.

This restaurant serves the best potstickers in the area. They offer dine-in service for lunch, with the price per person ranging from $10 to $20. The food and service both receive a rating of 5, while the atmosphere is rated a 4. A must-try dish at this restaurant is their Pot Stickers.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The crab Rangoon was delicious and the honey chicken was amazing. It is a must-try! Food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect 5.

This food was edible but completely flavorless. There weren't any vegetables in the fried rice, and it was mushy. The wonton soup didn't have any greens, and the wonton was too thick. Even the fortune cookie was bland. I'm very disappointed, we won't be back. I ended up eating a frozen 1.19 walmart pizza that had more flavor. The dogs got the leftovers. Service: Takeaway
