Great location for a stop en route to/from Stansted airport... only 15 minutes away. Very comfortable beds in the family room we had (the kingsize was lovely and long! . Plenty of hot water, good heating, rooms situated away from the bar so voices from there didn't disturb us. Stayed 1 night to break a long journey. Was fine, friendly staff, acceptable accommodation for price paid. Good meal in bar and nice breakfast (07.30-08.30 offered) checkout by. 10.30. Bit of traffic noise. Would stay again. Rooms: Fine but getting a bit tired in a few small places. Tile grouting, sink bath enamelling. Food drinks: Good evening meal in bar while watching Sky Sports. Nice breakfast. Rooms: 4
