I am disappointed with my recent experience at this restaurant. When I made a reservation for a party of 16, I requested to be seated in the conservatory area to avoid feeling cramped. Despite reassurances, we were instead seated at the back of the restaurant. The service was slow, with drinks and starters taking over an hour to arrive. We went to The Ship on Sunday. We had a lovely meal. Most of us had the roast, the puddings were very generous. Great service friendly staff.
