What sopaca doesn't like about The Duchess Tea Room:
There are plenty of gluten laden items here sandwiches, pies, pasties, etc. but not a lot of gluten free items. I don't want a baked potato when it's 30C! I had a drink and packet of crisps for lunch. View all feedback. What Margaret L likes about The Duchess Tea Room:

read moreNestled within the picturesque Woburn Estate, the tea room presents a mixed dining experience that captivates with beautiful surroundings yet struggles with service and food consistency. Afternoon tea options vary, with some guests enjoying delightful treats and attentive staff, while others report stale sandwiches and uninviting rooms. The ambiance of the dining areas, particularly in the Bedford Room, leaves much to be desired, and cleanliness is a recurring concern. Despite these shortcomings, the stunning gardens and scenic deer park offer a lovely backdrop for visitors, making it a spot worth considering for a leisurely outing—though perhaps a picnic might prove a better choice.
