We try and eat here at least once a month and sometimes more. Great food and the shaslik comes with drama and sizzling hot. We like being able to bring our own drinks and the service is friendly and accommodating. View all feedback.
What GarthTrottersBottom doesn't like about Montys:
I ended up eating something else from my fridge instead of finishing the meal. The next day, when I tried to throw out the leftovers, I discovered that the bottom inch of the biryani was solid with hardened oil. I was grateful that I had not eaten more of the dish. I called the restaurant to express my dissatisfaction, but the staff/owner was rude and dismissive.

Came here for a date with my boyfriend. It was my first time but my boyfriend has been here several times. They provide free popadoms and a selection of dips and sauces with them which was delicious! Our mains came out and it was the best Indian I have had. Never been a big fan of Indian food as had bad experience with takeaway places in Bedford. But montys is great just disappointing that it isn't bigger as I was sat right next to the loo Would definitely recommend this lovely place. Keep pestering my boyfriend to take me again
Was very pleasantly surprised by this gem of an Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant in the village of Cranfield. Walked past many times since I moved here, but ate there last night for the first time. The manager was friendly and helpful, and the place was very clean. I'm a vegetarian, and there was a varied selection of dishes to choose from. The food arrived promptly and was excellent. One of the best Indian restaurants I've eaten in. They also do take away.
This is a great place to eat in the village, with 2 Indian restaurants that are both very good. However, I would say that this one has a slight edge in terms of taste. The only downside is that they could improve their cutlery, although it doesn't affect the taste of the food. Some people do judge a restaurant by their cutlery rather than the cuisine.
Always a very welcome greeting, and food is excellent and you take your own drink as they don't have a licence, but you can get Coke etc: staff are excellent too. The Food is great and they do takeaway.
After a weekend of chocolate and roast dinners, what more could you want to get back to normal? Another great meal with friends and Farooq Co did us proud as ever. Get withdrawal symptoms if we don’t get our regular fix
