Friendly informative staff with great sense of humour. Food was tasty, hot, and beautifully presented. Hot sharing platter was full of different flavours, didnt know I liked haloumi but it was great. My sea bass was very large and cooked just right. My three previous visits were good experiences too, best lamb chops, a little noisy on a Friday night but it adds to the character of the place. What omarhK1997MY doesn't like about Kayra Mediterranean Restaurant Meze Bar:
This restaurant is absolutely terrible. The manager is rude, nasty, and only interested in making money. The way they spoke to my sister and others in a sarcastic and mean manner right in front of customers was unacceptable. The food was extremely salty, soggy, and burnt. To the manager: show some manners and treat your customers with kindness. Maybe watch some YouTube videos or take a course on customer service. My... View all feedback.
Myself and another couple dined at this restaurant two weeks ago and I must say, I was very disappointed with our experience. The worst part of our visit was sitting near the front door, which had a strange air-lock feature that resembled something out of a sci-fi movie. People struggled to open and close the door, resulting in a blast of cold air every time. I paid £6 for 3 prawns for my starter, which seemed extremely overpriced. My wife ordered lamb and eggplant for her main course, but it was more like a mush with chunks of lamb on top, not what we expected for £15. There were no carbs on the menu, which was surprising for a Turkish restaurant. The BBQ onion was a disaster, swimming in pomegranate juice, as were all the salads. To make matters worse, one of the servers had a terrible body odor. The total bill for 4 people with drinks came to £170, which I felt was terrible value for money. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant.
My husband and I went to this restaurant during the week and had a wonderful dining experience. The service was friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

To the manager: show some manners and treat your customers with kindness. Maybe watch some YouTube videos or take a course on customer service. My nieces and children left hungry because of the poor quality of food. I couldn't even make anything for them at home because I had to work. The manager even argued with me in front of my children and nieces, which was completely disrespectful.
Welcoming staff, excellent service, succulent dishes nothing to fault! Even a complimentary bottle of wine to takeaway. Attractive decor, although a few less hard surfaces would help to absorb some of the non negligeable, ambient noise level. This address is a real find!
Wanting a pleasant midweek night out we punted for Kayra as a pleasant change. Wow, great value. Good service and far too much eat (so much we took some home). We have done Turkish before and this is spot on. We commend the sharing platter... it is definitely for three (not two).
