Third time eating here. I have always gotten the Monte Cristo which is awesome. I decided on the chicken biscuit and it seemed as though it had been thawed and warmed up. The cheese was cold and the chicken tough. So disappointing. Our server (very sweet) second day on the job was doing her best, but we felt as though she should have been still training. She was so lost , but not her fault at all. It will be awhile before we go back. How is it that I didn't know about this place sooner? Great Homestyle breakfast and lunch menu! Really enjoyed the casual atmosphere and friendly service. The food was wonderful. I always feel like part of the family when I come here. I was aware that the cooking staff was out sick, and the owner had to juggle between the kitchen and hosting duties. It took a little longer than usual, but understanding the situation made a big difference. The boudin omelet is absolutely delicious—definitely a safe choice for your taste buds. Yum!
