Looks like a scene ou... read more Beautifully restored restaurant in an old hotel overlooking the typical small town square with a gorgeous stone court house in the middle. Looks like a scene out of a movie set in Middle America. Food was very good, reasonably priced. We arrived atabout 4 p.m. before the dining room was opened. But, service was very good in the front bar/lobby area. And, we had a frontrow seat overlooking the coming and goings in the Continental Hotel and on the town square. We will definitely return on ournext road trip through this part of Iowa.
