Checkers - Centerville
Checkers
Description
Hidden in a gas-station corner, this Centerville fast-food spot divides diners: many praise friendly, upbeat staff, clean premises, correct orders and tasty burgers served fresh despite busy spells; others report long waits, inconsistent hours, a very limited menu, and uneven food quality—from well-seasoned fries to dry chicken and undercooked biscuits. Value is mixed (very cheap large self-serve drinks), and service ranges from warm to brusque. Best for road-trippers and budget meals, but expect variability and spotty hours.

We stopped here thinking it was going to be fast, first they delayed taking our order, and then it have been more than 20 min on the drive-through window. The drive-thru employee is literally sit down waiting on the food. I don’t understand what is happening, our trip have been delayed more than 30 min just because we think Checkers will be quicker. You can’t tell me you are understaffed if you have employees sitting down. Nothing was offer for all the time we had to wait, and above everything we asked for bacon on the hamburgers and no bacon was added but it was charged to us.
