Very good gravy very good taste all around the only thing I would suggest for true poutine is to make sure that the fries or more crispy. Usually poutine fries or double fried to make sure they don’t get soggy too fast and also I would suggest making sure that the cheese curds are in fact melted before serving. But overall loved it
We heard about this truck from a friend. They were in our neighborhood this past Saturday, decided to give them a shot for lunch. AMAZING! This was our first experience with poutine and they knocked it out of the park.We will be back, thank you so much!
The fries should be thick and freshly cut, not overly crispy. The cheese should be soft and partially melted, though not fully melted—unless, as any true poutine enthusiast knows, the curds get buried beneath the fries and gravy the moment they are served. What you will discover is that this restaurant serves a poutine that matches the authentic, classic version that Montreal is known for. For that, the wonderful owners of this establishment deserve my heartfelt thanks as a native Montrealer who appreciates the comfort of home. Five stars simply isn't enough!
The poutine here is incredible! It’s like chili cheese fries, but with rich brown gravy and white cheddar cheese. The combination is fantastic and pairs perfectly with any beer! You have to try the original poutine!
