A very good Italian restaurant in a particularly beautiful location right on the Aller river.

My girlfriend and I decided to eat here at the last minute. We were lucky that evening, as we got a table for the two of us without a reservation. The atmosphere was very cozy, the staff very polite, friendly, and attentive, and our food arrived quickly. The dishes were beautifully presented and portioned; the taste was excellent. This was our first time eating here, and we would definitely come back if we're ever near Celle again. A nice little touch regarding the service: We had already left the restaurant when a member of staff came running after us to give us a small gift—a panettone. Highly recommended!

For me, this is a top Italian restaurant! I would recommend the pasta served from a Padano wheel to anyone who likes pasta. What's less appealing is how noisy the large dining room is. Unfortunately, it's as loud as a train station. They could definitely improve that, for example, with curtains or other soundproofing measures. Nevertheless, I will visit the restaurant again—perhaps even sitting outside in the warmer months.

The food was okay, but not particularly good; the ambiance was nice. The service was inattentive, and the table reservation process was terrible. We only got our table after asking several times. I don't need stress before the meal. I would rather come back here in the summer and sit outside overlooking the river.

We only went once, so our impression might not be representative. Nevertheless, we were disappointed. We liked the good service, the ambiance, and the reasonably priced but good Prosecco. But then – the bruschetta was barely toasted, if at all, and drenched in balsamic glaze. The Fegato alla Veneziana is often a test for me of whether the kitchen is any good – it arrived on a sort of bed of vegetables, in and under a sauce that really didn't belong there. The pasta – Taglioni Pesto Siciliana – was so hot we suspected it had come from the microwave. Again, it was a disappointing experience. Along with the wine and water, the bill came to almost one hundred euros, which simply doesn't add up.
