Das Essen war sehr gut: Das Steak auf den Punkt, wie ich es wünschte. Die Beilagen reichhaltig und ebenfalls sehr gut. Kann ich nur empfehlen !

We weren't there for the first time, but definitely for the last. We had a reservation for a birthday coffee for 9 people with fresh strawberry cake. What we got was a table that wasn't fully set, with coffee and tea in thermoses, and unfriendly staff who made it clear upon arrival that we shouldn't have been there because a tournament was taking place. Fine, but they could have told us that when we made the reservation instead of just accepting it. The strawberry cake we ordered consisted of 30% cake batter, 30% watery custard, 30% glaze, and a generous 10% finely chopped strawberries. It tasted as unappetizing as it looked. 10 slices for €50!!! As an alternative, they initially offered cherry cake, rhubarb cake, and apple cake. When we wanted to order more cake, the rhubarb cake had suddenly disappeared, with the explanation that the last two slices had just been ordered. The only problem was that half the cake was clearly visible on the kitchen counter until the very end. Absolutely outrageous! Naturally, we had to wait an extended period of time several times during our visit to order more coffee, milk, cream, and cake. Even paying the bill took more than 15 minutes. And all this for €200, or €22 per person! A blatant rip-off! When we pointed out the abysmal service and the strawberry cake, the owner rudely replied that we weren't at Café Müller. He's absolutely right! And that's exactly where we'll be going next time. So, once again: NEVER AGAIN!!!
