The bacon cheese... read more I came back on September 28, 2023, for lunch and was impressed again. The chili soup was wonderful, thicker than usual, just the way I love it. The bacon cheeseburger with all the toppings was delicious, and the fries were hot and crispy. The restaurant has been remodeled; while the floor plan remains mostly the same, the ambiance feels much more modern. The biggest improvement is definitely the restrooms, which were quite small before but are now spacious and very clean. Our waitress, Ann, provided phenomenal service. She was attentive and friendly. They also serve the best pie around, but I didn’t have room for any this time. I will definitely indulge in it next visit. One minor issue was the noise level inside. There was a large table of 5 or 6 older ladies next to us who spoke quite loudly and laughed even louder, making it hard to hear our own conversation. I’m not sure if that's an issue with The Bay or just the other patrons who need to tone it down. Perhaps some acoustic panels could help reduce the noise levels. Overall, I highly recommend it!

Aug. 31-Well, they don't have their fabulous broasted chicken anymore, which is why we always made the half hour plus drive to eat here. No longer offer free drink refills. Their pies are still good, but we can get just as good closer to home. Really sorry they have altered their menu.

Under new management a year and a half ago, they stopped serving dinner, but still do terrific breakfast and lunch as well. It’s a great spot right on the lake, jampacked with hungry, locals, and well served by very polite and friendly weight staff. We had just about every kind of breakfast imaginable all on one table and it was absolutely delicious.

Our waitress was fabulous and the food was fantastic! You can’t do any better than that. We were at the Eldora Speedway for the races and stopped in Celina, Ohio at the bay restaurant.
