Java Nation Coffee House - Celina
Java Nation Coffee House
Description
Hidden in Celina, this quirkily furnished café-bar-pottery house blends exceptional coffee with hearty breakfast, sandwiches, fired-oven pizzas and craft beers. Mornings offer pour-overs, espresso drinks and simple but tasty breakfast fare like avocado toast; evenings bring a lively bar scene with beers on tap, live music and intimate, artsy seating (leather couches, mismatched tables). A gift shop and pottery studio add local charm, making it a casual destination for breakfast, date nights, work sessions or small events.

My favorite place in the area! Just incredibly original, great atmosphere, and excellent, healthy food!!
This is a good place for coffee. It's the same building as Brew Nation. They have some pretty good coffee, not just simple coffee you would expect in a town like this. It also has some food. They have a simple menu. In Celina there isn't much good for breakfast. It only has a few coffee places, and these are mostly fast food. This might be the only place where the coffee doesn't taste like hot water. It has several kinds of coffee. They have stuff like pour overs. I had a regular coffee. This is about $3 for a medium size. It was pretty good. There wasn't a bitter aftertaste like crappy coffees may have. If you want breakfast, this is also a good place for you to come. They have a menu of classics and modern items. I had the avocado toast. This is about $3 for a piece of toast and lots of avocado. It wouldn't be worth nearly that much if there wasn't as much avocado. There were also toasted walnuts. It's a good place for breakfast. It has the best variety of coffee in Celina. They aren't busy early in the mornings usually.
Stumbled on this place during an impromptu drive through Celina. Though I was disappointed that they didn't have any pork for the pulled pork sandwich, the brisket sandwich that I got instead was amazing. Actually, it was the best brisket I've ever had. Tender, not dry, and full of flavor. I also got a side macaroni-Italian salad and good. Both were very good. The restaurant is cute and quaint, unique with different tables and chairs. It also seems to be a great local spot to hangout/get some work done. If/when I make a return to this town, I'll definitely stop here again.
Very cool place. Had a Calzone because I was driving for work and needed something to go. I also sat down and played a couple tunes at the piano. The place does everything! They are a pizza joint, a café/coffee shop, a bar/Brewery, a pottery house, and they have live music!
It's mandatory to come here whenever we are in town visiting the parents. Great sandwiches and soup and of course the coffee! Awesome live music, big enough to hold a crowd but small enough to feel intimate. My parents go all of the time for their special events like Valentine's dinner and wine tasting. I go for the cute gift shop that is attached. Outdoor seating. Alcohol. Great music.
