We arrived and after a mild mix up in my reservation we were given a seat outside as requested in my reservation. The server did an excellent job! She took care of us. My daughter has a gluten allergy and asked that a salad be modified. The server checked with the kitchen and it was done. Thank you to the kitchen! What MattP doesn't like about Boardwalk Grill Celina:
We traveled 50 miles for our reservation, but unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to eat there. When we arrived, the hostess gave us one explanation for why they had to close early, but the manager had a different story. Given that we had a reservation, I expected to be notified about the closure in advance. While the manager did offer us a $50 gift card for the inconvenience, I doubt I will make the effort to use... I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant—it felt like I was back on a tropical vacation! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was incredible. The burgers and calamari were exceptional! This is definitely a place you'll want to check out.
I think this place is better suited for drinks and appetizers only. The drink prices are reasonable. I ordered the fish and chips, and while the fish was okay, the fries were the worst I've ever had. On a positive note, the view was fantastic and the restaurant decor was nice. However, the seating was quite cramped, and the chairs were uncomfortable. The food is amazing! My group ordered several appetizers to share, and every single one was delicious. The waitstaff was a bit overwhelmed at times since a wedding party was using the large bar, which made some servers unavailable for regular customers. Nevertheless, it's a very inviting place with fantastic food and drinks! Service: Dine in.

Food and service was good, was disgusted to see two young people bring their 2 large dogs INSIDE and sat there at the end of the table. Not service dogs and the tables are close together.
