I recently visited this charming restaurant for afternoon tea and an all-day Irish breakfast. The friendly service and cozy atmosphere, complete with a warm fire, made for a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this spot for anyone in search of a peaceful and relaxing dining experience. The food menu is simple, with reasonable prices. I particularly enjoyed the delicious homemade tomato soup and the tasty breakfa... View all feedback.

My friends I couldn't wait for Afternoon Tea after the one in December This year was extremely disappointing. tiny sandwich slivers, flat scone tiny desserts per person. There wasn't even enough desserts for everyone to try one of each...type. My friends I had planned to make this a yearly gathering but we won't be coming back again. The staff ambience are wonderful but we left hungry. View all feedback.
Myself and my friends had afternoon tea here in Dec and it was soooo lovely. We went again Jan and it was far from good. We had fingers of sandwichs each , which led to an egg finger of a sandwich being...stared to death, as we all wanted it ,yet we all knew ,that we all wanted it, because we had not enough at all ,a very a dry flat scone,(not even a bit of cream with the jam) and when the deserts came out our coffees were long gone so we asked if we could get a pot to have with the deserts. One of my friends was later asked to pay for this. There was of us ,yet only choclate tarts and horrible, dry small bread and butter pudding pots came out, however we did get a meringue nest each but two of us were left sitting tartless and puddingless, but ,we all shared ,which we should not have had to do.We were told we would get a prosecco instead of the mulled wine but it was a tall glass of orange juice with a very very faint taste of prosecco.A very good way of sparing their prosecco. The place is lovely and the staff were lovely also ,but it was d meanest afternoon tea Ive ever been to. We were very disappointed with what we paid for and we wont be returning again. Such a pity as it was really nice before but if I had to sum it up in word, that word would be,Mean.

Excellent place! Beautiful food, very friendly, helpful staff. Right across from Quin Abbey easy to find. We definitely be back soon.
We had butternut squash soup, chicken pasta salad, homemade brown bread, tea all delicious. They were out of scones, a huge disappointment since that is what we came for. pm on a Wednesday.. Who knew But based on everything else, they would have...been tasty too. It's a sweet little cafe, only a half dozen or so tables. The drive there is lovely countryside and there is an old Abbey across the street. All in all a quaint little town and a wonderful tea room.
The fresh tea was excellent and the local history pamphlet was very informative. We had a great lunch and there were lots of locals enjoying themselves at the restaurant.
