The Abbey Lodge - Celbridge

Service is horrendous, used to go here regularly but these days end up waiting over 20 minutes just to be served when in the outside area benches. The staff just look at you as you enter, then go back to sitting around. One time was even questioned by staff as to why we didn’t buy anything yet even though we were waiting to be served.Overall I think it’s ridiculously unacceptable how long it takes to be served. That being said there is 3 young staff in particular that are absolutely lovely and do an excellent job.

Amazing place, with the nicest staff in Celbridge. A family business that has great attention to detail and their customers. New place beside the river with a lovely view. Perfect to hang out with family and friends

The Abbey Lodge is great, my happy place in Celbridge. Local gem with very nice owners and friendly staff. It has a welcoming atmosphere with good music, a beautiful river view, and plenty of indoor outdoor space. Food is always on point. I never go anywhere else, it's my absolute fave!

Not the best place. They took my pint when I went for a smoke and tried to charge me for the replacement pint. One of the senior staff (I think the owner) got very angry then and shouted at his staff. Terrible place but it seems popular for some reason
