Aspen Trails
Description
Tucked near Grand Mesa, this small campground and café blends home‑cooked comfort with stunning views and warm, often personal hospitality. Classic burgers, an indulgent banana split and basic RV services — dump, water, propane and hookups — make it a favorite for families and travelers. Guests praise friendly owners and thoughtful touches, though some report inconsistent management, billing disputes, strict camping rules and occasional staff hostility. Overall, a charming, affordable stop with great food and scenery when service runs smoothly.

This is one of the most welcoming places you'll ever find! The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels happy and satisfied during their visit.
We used to go here for good burgers and ice cream and to dump our black/grey tanks when we were dispersed camping on Grand Mesa. Always charming people and sweet service. We called yesterday to see if we could do so today and a friendly young woman quoted us $20 for dump and water. We looked forward to the burgers and told her so. Arrived today and a very hostile and rude older woman refused to let me into the building to pay for dump/water and order burgers because I was wearing a mask. We're healthy and vaccinated but concerned about the next covid variant. Told her so nicely she refused us service. I ended up tossing a 20 onto the counter from the doorway to cover the dump and water.
Have been stopping here off and on every time we are in the area and traveling through. Owners were very friendly and enjoyed a great conversation with both of them. In addition to our lunch we ordered the Grand Mesa Banana Split. What a great dessert. Our family of five barely was able to finish it.
