Great coffee house in such a quaint vintage village Interior did not disappoint with it's rustic, age old wood work throughout. Decorated eclectically and warmly, giving off a very welcoming vibe.Baristas were quick and efficient and above all the single pump mocha was divine! Charming little coffee shop with an excellent variety of coffee options.
This place is fantastic for a wide selection of drinks, but I've been disappointed with the food. The wait times can be quite long, especially in the mornings, when the café gets really busy. The number of people waiting for food makes the small space feel even more cramped. Just today, I ordered a $7 mango habanero sausage that was supposed to come with a bun and mango slaw, but all I received was a small sausage wrapped in foil. After waiting 25 minutes and with a commitment to get to, I couldn't even return to have my order corrected. The sausage was good, but it definitely wasn’t worth the $7 without the bun and slaw to round it out as a proper meal.
During our time living in the area, Java House was our favorite coffee spot, so I had to stop by when I was passing through recently. They have some exciting new additions to the menu, such as Cardamom Rose Lattes and Butterfly Pea Flower Lemonade, while still offering the classic favorites. It’s as charming as ever!
The Caramel Latte I had with the Caramel Sauce was very good. Not knowing which coffee shop to choose from in Cedarburg, I chose Java House, and I was pleasantly surprised. Good espresso flavor and not too weak like many coffee shops.
The service is good and the prices are fair. Coffee is great, and it has older theam to its decor. I just came back from this coffee shop, and it is great.
