Scooter's Coffee - Cedar Rapids

The staff at this restaurant are always friendly, but I have to admit I’m not satisfied with how sweet my coffee is. I request half the syrup, yet it still turns out too sweet for my taste. I’m beginning to wonder if I’m ordering incorrectly or if their standard sweetness is just excessive. The prices here are on the higher side, and although I don’t want to complain, I can’t keep experiencing this disappointment. I’ve decided it’s time to move on from Scooters and will explore local shops instead, as they seem to offer better value. Just a tip—if, like me, you enjoy nitro coffee, Dunn Bros serves a 16oz pour for $3.62, while here it’s over $5, and honestly, the taste is the same.

The coffee here is quite diluted, and I can't believe they have the nerve to request a tip. Tips should reflect outstanding service and shouldn't be expected automatically. I like to determine whether to leave a tip after I've enjoyed my coffee. Please refrain from asking for one.

The coffee here is outstanding, the staff is very welcoming, and the seating is quite comfortable. It's a fantastic spot for reading, working, or catching up with friends.

I absolutely love the location of Scooter's on 1st Avenue in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The staff always gets my order perfect!

I visited the drive-thru to grab some coffee and decided to try the nitro brew. It was fantastic—light and creamy! I also ordered a blue raspberry chiller for my child, and it tasted exactly like candy. The customer service was friendly and prompt.
