Not one to leave the reviews, However, the impression that Rodina went on to us was too fantastic, not to share. Food and service were incredible!! Such a jewel that can be found within Cedar Rapids. Good: Delicious drinks, great deals for happy hour. Appetizers. Staff is awesome and servers are great. Good service. Bad: This is the second time I visited Rodina and the second time I was very disappointed by the main course. I ordered a pasta with wild boar sauce dish (forgot the name) which was so extremely salty I have no idea how anyone can serve it. I mentioned that to the server, she said she will mention it... The food was beautifully prepared and presented. It featured local ingredients and was delicious. The portion sizes were just right, and the decor was absolutely lovely! I’m looking forward to my next visit.

I truly enjoyed every dish I tried. The aromas and the presentation were impeccable. It felt like a mini vacation!
It's disappointing to see this restaurant close its doors. It offered an exceptional upscale experience that was also welcoming. The service and drinks were outstanding. You could really sense the love and care that went into the food preparation. However, I understand that the menu might not appeal to everyone. For example, the chicken hearts on a skewer were delicious, locally sourced, and showcased the animal in a unique and generous manner. I thoroughly enjoyed them with my Manhattan. Yet, I can see how such dishes might not be fully appreciated in Costa Rica.
I can't believe I waited so long to visit this place! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. Ethan's passion for the dishes and the sourcing of ingredients was a delightful surprise. This venue is perfect for a romantic date night or a larger celebration. We will definitely be returning!
