we went to breakfast this morning and had pebble as our waitress, she was very friendly, fast and playful funny. she made our experience lovely. we have experienced a bad customer service in many recently, but pebble has restored my belief in the food industry. Despite the fact that this server was badly treated by many and paid our waitress, had nothing but a smile and a big one. the food came fast and was delicious View all feedback.
What Genevieve Zieme doesn't like about Perkins Bakery:
our waitress was very hard to work, but this evaluation is not for them, she gets 5 for being brilliant. but the chicken piece dinner was missing. it wasn't even big enough for a child's meal. with 2 el kartoffels cut with tons of gravity. 14 They invite you, not satisfied with the great breakfast is more worthy 14 and a meal fit for a hungry adult. Our server made the day. She was busy but stayed friendly and always had a smile. The food was good but Perkins didn't seem to have any vegan options or even vegetarian. We asked if price could be reduced if the meat was left out of a salad. I've been to several places that will do that since the meat is the most expensive part. There were no gluten free adjustments/replacements either. That's why it's only 4 stars.
We were at Perkins around 6:30 on Saturday evening. The parking lot was fairly empty in comparison to the surrounding restaurants. I must say it has been several years since I had been to this location. I ordered coffee and the turkey dinner. My coffee at best was luke warm. So we have just afew cars in the parking lot and luke warm coffee. So now my meal is on it's way! My potatoes gravy was cold! Don't think I'll be back,
The waitresses were all rude and lacked patience. One of my child's food was forgotten to be put in the system, causing confusion when only one dish arrived. My wife's mashed potatoes had no gravy, while mine had gravy that was taken off. Our drinks were often empty and onion rings were not available. We had to wait 15 minutes to be seated, and my wife's potato soup was lukewarm. The waitress did not bring napkins and only checked on us when bringing our food. To make matters worse, she brought us to-go boxes while we were still eating. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and we probably won't be returning.
This morning, we had breakfast at a restaurant and were served by Pebble. She was friendly, efficient, and had a great sense of humor. She made our dining experience enjoyable. Lately, we have encountered poor customer service at many places, but Pebble restored our faith in the food industry. Despite the low pay and mistreatment that servers often face, she remained positive with a smile and great attitude. The food arrived quickly and was delicious.
We travel often and often find ourselves needing a late-night meal. This restaurant stays open until midnight, which is very convenient for us. The man working behind the counter, I believe his name is Trevor, was extremely friendly and outgoing. Even though it was close to closing time, the food was served hot and in large portions. The chicken strips were particularly delicious, and the tater tots and steamed broccoli were also very tasty. The prices were reasonable, and we will definitely make a point to stop and eat here every time we visit Cedar Rapids.
