The hostess had to go to the back to check...even tho there were SEVERAL open tables. She came back and said it would be 15 minutes until she could seat us becauseall of the servers were stressed. Although a group of 6 walked in behind us was seated. She didn't want us to have a badexperience. Well guess what...that just set the tone of my experience.

My wife and I had $36 left on a gift card that we decided to use up so we got the 2 for $24.The stars are meant to represent the whole experience so bear withme. Our waiter, Alaric, was top notch and attentive. Our appetizer was the spinach and artichoke dip and it was great.I got theclassic cheeseburger, it was cooked perfectly and delicious. However, the picture showed two slices of cheese and there was onlyon it The fries were undercooked and had an off taste, like perhaps the oil needed changing. My wife got the double crunchshrimp They too, weren 't fried long enough or perhaps hot enough. They were not even single crunch, the coating was soggy/oilyand tasted like the oil was old. I used to love Applebee 's, but I haven 't gotten a decent entree there in a long time.
