Feedback
At Cotton Patch, experiences vary widely among diners, but highlights emerge from the reviews. Many patrons praise the warm, friendly service, with standout waitstaff making a significant impact. The restaurant's food is described as flavorful and satisfying, particularly favorites like chicken spaghetti and steak dishes. However, there are notable frustrations, including long wait times for seating and inattentive staff. Some diners voiced concerns about food quality, with dishes occasionally arriving cold or not meeting expectations. Despite these inconsistencies, the welcoming atmosphere and potential for delicious offerings keep many customers eager to return.
Such a great lunch choice!!! Thank you Ty, for being so sweet positive such a genuine smile!!! We had such a wonderful meal!! The house salad was so crisp cold! Our plates were hot fresh!!! We walked in waited 10 minutes to be approached only to be told by what seemed to be some sort of manager. Tables and booths empty throughout the restaurant some, few tables needing to be bussed. No enthusiasm sense if urgency at all. Even my 14 year daughter said dad let's go, they don't seem to keep their promises here While four other couples showed up behind us. They tried to go to the second couple that showed up after us to reserve a seat. That couple told him, (they) meaning my daughter and I were before them. Wow, way to observe the customers that came in. So we left. I wondered why when I passed by it always looked empty. Now you and I know. Good luck if you decide to go here. Really poor non-service here. Can't speak for the ones that got a seat. On how it went. But the look on there face said, been there, done that Not coming back
Do not bother visiting this restaurant - the food portions are small and it has a bad smell. I ordered a chicken fried chicken and both a worker and the manager (who was bald) questioned if I had ordered a junior meal, which implied they knew the portion was small. When I requested a different meal, the manager became rude and insisted on giving me the same thing. Eventually, he admitted they were out of sides and had thrown away my original meal with the sides. I ended up getting a refund. For better value and customer service, I recommend going to the Arlington location.
Great food. Horrible service. The whole environment was very lackadaisical. Lots of staff standing around doing nothing. It was as if there was absolutely no management around, so nobody was motivated to give good service. We waited unbelievably long tobe seated (it was 9 pm on a Monday night and was NOT the least bit busy). When they finally acknowledged us waiting, they verynonchalantly went to clean a table for us (there were lots of dirty tables waiting to be bussed). They removed the dirty dishes, and then chatted with some co-workers, then washed the table, then chatted with some co-workers again, then eventually andfinally seated us, at a soaking wet table. When we asked for a towel to dry the table ourselves, they very slowly came over withpaper napkins and ran their hands over about 1/3 of the table. It was very much a Twilight Zone moment. I 've truly never seensuch a do not care , everyone walking around half asleep overall environment. We love Cotton Patch, but not this particularone (our first time at this location).
Stopped in for lunch, great as always. Had Strawberry Pecan salad. Guest had Chicken Fried Brisket. He said leave that deep fried food to the County Fair ????!
