What Korey Rider doesn't like about Scooter's Coffee:
The coffee was subpar and the breakfast food was disappointing (I'm pretty sure they just reheated a low-quality breakfast burrito). However, the smoothies were tasty. I suggest going further up 1st Street to Sidecar Coffee or heading down Washington to Cottonwood Canyon instead. View all feedback.
Just placed a large order, staff was so kind, orders were perfect, and it was fast!
Staff is nice but the coffee keeps me away, unfortunately a smile can't fix terrible coffee. Treats aren't that bad however so if your meeting someone there, get something other than coffee and try some food XD
The general manager, Kristy, is fantastic! She is great at engaging in conversation in the drive-thru and even let me try the new kids sugar cookie this morning. I definitely prefer both Cedar Falls locations over the Waterloo location. The only downside is that they no longer have red bull infusions, which is disappointing because I don't visit as often as I used to. However, I really love the Cedar Falls locations and the staff there!
We moved to CF in November and at that time went to Starbucks a few times a week— but Scooters was right around the corner, so we tried them. Love the staff here, they always give our pups lil cups they’re quick and friendly. The coffee is delicious. The owner is stingy and dishonest. I offered to assist him in a situation, but he fabricated a story to avoid payment and cancel a service agreement. If he had been upfront about his needs, I would have been willing to help on a one-time basis. Overall, the communication was poor and it was unpleasant to do business with him. I recommend staying away if you work in the service industry.
