Pancheros Mexican Grill - Cedar Falls

Avoid ordering delivery from this location. The food arrives looking like they tossed the tortilla from a distance and tried to throw the ingredients onto it. It's consistently drenched in liquid and missing various components. This restaurant has really declined lately. It's quite disappointing.

This might be the worst restaurant in the entire Cedar Valley. I can't believe it is still in business.

The evenings here are particularly frustrating, as there’s rarely a manager present, and the staff seems entirely defeated. The prep area is often dirty and frequently lacking key ingredients—rice, queso, beans, and today it was tofu. It seems like they might clean the glass once a day (if I’m being generous), and I can’t tell if the grill or stovetop have ever been cleaned—they look like they’ve accumulated eight years of grime. Today, although the employees were polite and friendly, they couldn't assist me because they were out of the items I wanted and there was no one available for refunds. Many times the staff appears to be disengaged, and it's not uncommon to find them out back doing anything but working. Even if you manage to get a burrito with all the right ingredients, it’s likely to be served cold. Moreover, the online ordering system is misleading—wait times and ingredient availability are often inaccurate. I never imagined I’d write such a lengthy critique about a restaurant where I generally enjoy the food elsewhere, but this experience leaves me no choice.

I ordered 2 steak quesadillas and 1 chicken quesadilla. They all had a really bad after taste, tasted like old cheese or cheese been sitting out for so long. We couldn’t not finish are food. I went up and asked they said it’s new cheese never asked to remake it or anything.

Always the best thing to enter my mouth and bless my tasty buds.
