Ribs Hickory Pit Bbq - Cedar Crest

Ribs in Cedar Crest is a slam dunk. As Native Texans my husband and I have tried numerous BBQ restaurants in the ABQ area and they've all been fairly sub-par. When the top recommendation for BBQ is Rudy's it leaves a lot to be desired. So we were thrilled after moving to Cedar Crest to try out Ribs and it's an absolute knock out! The staff is incredibly helpful, super friendly and we've not had one bad experience there. Their beer selection is excellent and they have a full bar which is fabulous after a long hike in the Sandia's on a Sunday afternoon!

One of our fave places to go. We'll take the short drive to Albuquerque. I live half her chicken dinner. Staff and food are the best. I recommend it. You also have good drinks!!!

Fantastic food! The green bean side dish was incredible ribs were deliciously prepared. We sat outside on the east side, quiet fun. Our Des server was absolutely wonderful, she quickly took care of us. She's a real professional. We plan to eat at Ribs every time we are in the area in the future.

The food was great. The ribs hit the spot just right. The service was great as well. The sweet tea was perfect too. My one complaint was the music. It sounded like we were in an 80s sci-fi movie (like Tron). Not at all what I was expecting or wanting for a rib place.

They just poured me a wonderful Guiness. Waiting on my ribs. I have no doubt they will be wonderful. It's half full. Not too loud. They have a bar that separate from the main dining area.
