The shake was thick and delicious. There was a slightly long wait, but we were there at the busiest time, so it was expected.

I had a regular cheeseburger loaded and partner had green chili cheeseburger. They did not disappoint! They were delish and juicy. The place wasbusy at 2:30 in the afternoon. Can't blame them for closing at 4pm. They are very friendly. Lots of people eating outside withtheir hounds.

I've enjoyed Burger Boy for 8 years, and take (took) every out of town visitor there, but if today had been my first time, I'd never go back. Please see the photo of the fries I was served 6/16/22. They're not theusual fries, and they're from at least two batches, one burnt and one still partly frozen... like old, cold steak-cut friespulled from the bottom of a Walmart display freezer. I really hope this was just one bad day for them.

And I shady spot to park the people were friendly the place was busy but I only had to wait about five minutes for my burger. The owner came out andasked if I would try a new type of bun making it clear that they?re always trying to make the food better and they did notdisappoint. My double bacon green chili cheeseburger was on fire. The fries are fresh cut and fried to perfection and one of thecustomers loves the business so much that he sitting at the counter taking orders to speed things along. It was nice to seeyoung people working behind the counter with wise leader ship and an owner that takes true ownership of her business. She saidher mother is 97 years old and still works in the business. If you?re looking for a hearty old fashioned cheese burger look nofurther than burger boy when your in the East Mountains of Albuquerque New Mexico
