We had a nice outdoor dinner here. The food was tasty, especially the vegetable soup, and was quite filling. The only complaint we have is the fact that there was no member of staff dedicated to the outside tables, which took up the majority of...the space. We had to wait a very long time to place a drinks order, and in the end my wife gave up and went inside, by which time the food had gone cold. The staff tasks could be split up better (three servers for the three tables inside and none outside), but otherwise definitely worth a visit.
We had a great lunch, in this nice resaurant close to food market of Cecina Mare. I suggest spaghetti alle vongole . Vania, the owner she is the top!
I visited this restaurant with my friend, it is already a fifth restaurant that we visited in the region toscania. we were very nice of the services and the romantic atmosphere overall it was the best restaurant. they were ready to serve. awesome as 7 o'clock (in the rule are restaurants here only after 19 o'clock opened, from the beginning played a beautiful classical music, the garden was beautifully shaped with all the plants and romantic table and chairs pieces that eat well prepared and delicious, along with traditional brot and olive oil offered. we loved this place, so I recommend this restaurant. if they are looking for good food and romantic atmosphere, don't miss it:
That is a place to know. we discovered it last year and are back in this year. Nested in a gasse of cecina marina, not 100 mt from the main square, it is a pleasant unexpected restaurant. the old fashion armor of reben gives the day a cool...form (if it is quieter and frequented by the local) and makes in the evening a pleasant ambiente for dinner in free (if it is also filled with tourist; children are welcome and have a special play area that stands for them to the side) it is possible to use giovani and vanya, both in the kitchen work with high quality if the kitchen is regional and seasonal, with touches of international influence. the middle eastern dayin, revisited, the wearer is not stew or cousin, but by squid risotto with pecorino cheese, baccalà livornese, or mush with calvados and limette. the pappa al pomodoro, another local clasp, gets flair from the added garden shiny. fish is fresh from the local harbour and cooked to perfection of the fritto misto (fried mixed fish small fry, garnel and tinted fish) is light and crispy. the autumn opens the door to polnta with fresh porcini mushrooms. an additional bonus is their excellent homemade pizza. glooms are well presented and interesting: from green apple shilling with calvados, to pistachio meringue half freddo with dark chocolate. they also have a nice selection of bottled wines, but the real winner is their home wine made in a local wine mountain. prices are reasonable with a good value.
We went to Da Bruno on a Monday, after a day trip to San Gimignano. Nothing much to say, all was fine. Surrounding was nice, on a well maintained terrace, service was fine, food as well. We had Pasta as starters (2x, shared between the...four of us) and seafood as a main course (2 x MIxed grilled seafood platter, Fried seafood and swordfish steak a la siciliana). All very tasty and filling, prices a little bit higher than the competition we tried, but still satisfactory. Good dining experience. The only thing worth a MINOR criticism was the fact that the house wine was served sparkling without asking, we traced this back to our lack of experience of holiday making in Italy.
