I accuse my weak inner ear fluid. my desire to visit L’Enclume was born by my visit to fera in claridges (which simon rogan recently announced the connections with) earlier in the year. in no case was the meal at fera bad. it felt more industrialized, which does not deprive the number of covers. cooking was polite and correct, but it lacked character. it was missing the soul. but since rogans eat so high is rated by both food authors and cook equally, I decided to make the long hike to cartmel to experience its first hand.
