Brit's Fish & chips - Cavendish
Brit's Fish & chips
Description
Located in a tourist-filled plaza, this moderately priced restaurant offers fish and chips that received mixed reviews. While the fries were praised, the fish was described as very greasy, causing stomach issues for some diners. Despite some staffing challenges, the large fillets with crispy batter and fat chips left no complaints. Authentic British style fish and chips are served, with large servings that satisfied many visitors. Although the service may be overwhelmed at times, the delicious food and friendly owner make this a must-visit spot in Cavendish for a taste of fresh seafood and hand-cut fries.
Feedback
I have said it before and I'll say it again, the English sure know how to make a great fish and chips.
I visited this restaurant in the afternoon because I was feeling hungry but also needed to get some work done while on a business trip.
The service was excellent and the food was delicious, especially the fish and chips made with halibut or cod. I would definitely return if I have the chance in the future.
Moderately priced. Had fish and chips here that were fine. This restaurant was located in a plaza full of tourist stuff that the kids wanted to stop at to get t-shirts. There was also a SubWay next door, so the plaza at least offered another moderately priced option for our party to choose from.
