I?ll go to Katie?s, mcdonalds or Hardees for amilkshake. Much better!

Unfortunately, it tasted straight up like it was steeped in rolling tobacco, and not in a good way. I feel bad giving such a low rating, but their coffee isreally not good. I've been here 5 separate times with months in between wanting to give it another chance, and each time theircoffee was pretty bad with no real flavor. I usually get a latte and they don't seem to use any technique to steam the milk,they just stick in the steam wand and blast it. They always scald the milk, and the espresso is not strong at all, so even a12oz latte with a double shot just tastes like hot milk and I feel like I've wasted $3-$5 on something I end up throwing outbefore I'm even halfway through it. I really wanted to like them because I'd rather support a locally founded business than achain like Starbucks, but unfortunately that's not the case. The staff is plenty nice and the establishment itself is neat andinviting, but for me it's first and foremost about the coffee itself.

Is the coffee worth it? Well that depends. The outside seating especially the side patio is a nice touch. However the interior decor is pretty dull and sparse. Hard wood chairs and wooden tabletops prevail over hard flooring, there 's really no ambiance here. No sofas, no fireplace, not even a fake one. The underlying message seems to be thanks for stopping in for our own brewed coffee but you won 't be staying too long either. YMMV
