I... read more A very negative experience at this pizza restaurant! Found a hair in the pizza, received poor treatment from the staff, and the place was disgustingly dirty. I cannot imagine returning to this place again; the restaurant management must improve cleanliness and service immediately.

Tried pretty much all the Roanoke area pizza places and Highlander and Grace's seem to be a step above the rest. Highlander's was a perfect take out pizza. Right combo of ingredients, toppings excellently spread, and not soggy and toppings dripping off (unlike some other places in town not named). I would say Highlander might be the best hand tossed but I haven't had their thin if they have one. Grace's is the place if you want thin but their hand tossed is also great.Will be ordering again!Anyway, definitely worth. Got a 16 inch large specialty for like 21 bucks. Only complaint was the pizza slices were cut super weird and inconsistent. One slice was a wee baby slice and one was a mammoth slice. Others were fine
