This year, everything we appreciated... read more We stayed at the Hotel Orso Grigio for the second year in a row, precisely because we had such a wonderful time last year. This year, everything we appreciated last year was confirmed: all the rooms are well-kept, spotlessly clean, and fragrant; the wellness area is welcoming, equipped with every comfort; the breakfast is superb, with everything sweet or savory, and the gourmet dinner, with a different selection every evening, is truly the icing on the cake! There's even a children's menu! A special mention goes to all the staff, who are kind and cheerful, and especially to Mrs. Sonia, whom we had the pleasure of meeting again, and whose smile makes everything even warmer!

The hotel is located... read more We stayed at Orso Grigio for 9 nights. It's a wonderful family owned and run 4 star hotel. The rooms are modern, clean and extremely quiet. The hotel is located in the heart of the town, so everything is within walkable distance (souvenir shops, pharmacy). The hotel also has a well appointed spa/wellness area. I would also recommend taking the breakfast option as the buffet is delicious and has all the local delicacies to offer (cold cuts, cheeses, fresh apple juice). Daniela, the owner, provided excellent recommendations for activities (hikes, nearby restaurant to try out, however do try the Orso Grigio restaurant first, their wine list is superb). The hotel can also provide you with the Trentino guest card which allows you to take the ski lifts for a fixed rate during the entire length of your stay (highly recommended). All in all, Hotel Orso is a delightful hotel and I would definitely recommend it for anyone who wishes to spend a relaxing time in the Val di Fiemme region.

Safe location and the size makes it perfect for travelling with kids. Everything is 10/10! We are coming back as soon as possible!
