At Restaurant Beau Rivage, a suspended moment on the shores of Lake Guerlédan, May 2026 • Couples On the shores of Lake Guerlédan, the Beau Rivage restaurant offers a moment of pure tranquility in a splendid setting. The dining room, open to the water, invites serenity, and each dish seems to converse with the light on the lake. The €49 set menus, precise and flavorful, reveal a sincere, generous, and profoundly Breton cuisine. The warm and attentive service welcomes guests with rare kindness. On Friday, May 22, 2026, we experienced a precious, simple, and luminous moment there. A memory that will remain a gleam of Brittany. We highly recommend this restaurant: you will be pleasantly surprised.
We stopped for a drink and were charmed by the place. The setting is superb and the design of the bar area is particularly well done.
Fantastic experience. Excellent food and off the beaten track wine list. Classy, dedicated yet friendly service. A memorable experience. We will definitely go back.
We came for lunch today and it was a real discovery! This establishment, with its style and cleanliness both inside and out, all set in an almost grandiose natural environment, lives up to its ambitions. The cuisine is also excellent in terms of the quality of the ingredients, freshness, and respect for flavors—truly flawless. The Italian salad, the beetroot bun burger, and the shrimp fritters, which are exceptionally well-made, are all outstanding. The cocktails are incredibly precise in their flavors—bravo! In short, the food was perfect. The only slight drawback was the poor timing between the appetizers and fritters, which weren 't served together at all, and a small timing error between the main courses and the side dish, which arrived cold (a pan of vegetables). However, the person who served us managed to make up for everything with their helpfulness, kindness, and smile. But this in no way makes up for the complete lack of friendliness of the waitress or head waitress who is supposed to take reservations. Our waitress told us to contact this person to make a reservation. We wanted to explore your establishment and its magnificent menus in May and June for four people, based on your new menu, but it was impossible to make a reservation. The only response I got was, Sorry, I don 't take reservations, call back later. The only excuse I received was, I don 't have time, I have a group which, after checking, is 25 to 30 people with a minimum of 4 to 5 servers. It 's high time this person received some training in customer service or was removed from this position, as she is clearly completely incapable. Despite this flimsy excuse of I have a group, I don 't have time, call back later, I 'm not her employee. Remind her that it 's the customers who allow her to earn her salary (I 'm leaving out many other small details). I think that no hotel school teaches you how to treat customers. The chef, who is clearly the owner, deserves the title of Master Chef. Much respect to you, and I regret not being able to return, as we were looking forward to discovering your €49 menu, which, given the... The program promises delightful surprises. Sincerely.
A unique, personalized, and delightful experience! In an idyllic and serene setting, the service and atmosphere perfectly reflect this. Thank you to the entire team (bar, kitchen, and dining room) for the warm welcome and excellent dinner. A place that deserves to be known and appreciated!
