The tiny inside section is impeccable decorated, but realistically the outside terrace, which has now also been extended to inside the square, is usually where you’ll be at. It’s a standard Italian cafe with a decent selection of pastries and drinks, but also offers a small menu of sandwiches and other light bites. On my latest visit I took them up on a prosciutto cotto and mozzarella panini, which was lovely. My only complaint is before I ordered this I took a large pint of beer, and didn’t receive the plate of snacks that you usually, or at least used to, receive. Not sure if policy has changed, if I was too late in the day or if they thought because I was obviously foreign I wouldn’t know any better I’m not sure. This doubt blighted what was otherwise a solid visit to a reliable little cafe

By accident a frien... read more Visited there in July 2022 with my family, met some local friends there and all in all this place is one of the best you will find anywhere. By accident a friend suggested I try some of her onion and tuna Panini or should I say Panino in my limited baby Italian, all I can say is WOW! Great Gerlato Creme di Cafe etc etc. Great friendly stall all in all a gem. And there are many around Marina di Caulonia this is not jut the only one.

Caulonia Marina doesn’t have too many options of restaurants and cafes. This is a good place to go for a quick coffee or a cup of gelato. Might not be the best... read more Caulonia Marina doesn’t have too many options of restaurants and cafes. This is a good place to go for a quick coffee or a cup of gelato. Might not be the best place for dinner or lunch as their menu is pretty limited, but they have good burgers and snacks. They are also open late most of days, which is really helpful.
