I absolutely love this fish and chip shop! I’ve never had a bad meal from here. The chips are fantastic!

A small queue at the door is always encouraging. More so when we are experiencing a named storm Christoph . Rain,rain and more rain. Covid hygiene regulations have become the norm. It is still pleasing to see they are being adhered to. My order was taken on entry by a jovial Fryer. He was busy setting about his task. As was the server as the queue moved swiftly round. Order fulfilled and that 's me on the way home. The meal looks really appetising and the smell of fresh fish and chips is divine. They taste as good as they look. It does take a little longer to wait and order your food. However our weekly treat has been a real treat. Nice one Plumer Road chippy.

I use this chippy regularly. I think it always has the best chips and the Irish curry sauce is amazing. My husband usually gets cod bites and loves them. He says they are always fresh and the quality is 10 out of 10. I would recommend this chippy all day long. The prices are great. Food is great, staff are always welcoming and friendly and service is top notch

My first dining experience here was lovely, enjoying my meal in the square! I will definitely return.
