My husband and I were staying in Tannersville, and I was on the lookout for a fantastic seafood restaurant. All I wanted was a delicious lobster roll, and it definitely did not disappoint! It was packed with lobster, and the roll was soft and buttery. My husband ordered the steak topped with lobster, which was also a hit. The staff was attentive and offered excellent recommendations. Great hospitality , food off the charts, I tip my hat to the chef. The scenery is amazing. The seating I would rate a fat 0. How could you have such an exquisite restaurant with such poor furniture. Hopefully this will change. Excellent staff.
In all honesty, we hadn 't heard of this place when we set out to have a Mini vacation in Catskills. My husband and I found ourselves at the kitschy pirate bar and someone by the name of Frank Guido paid for our first round, a sort of welcome to theCatskills gesture. We didn 't even get to see this Frank because like a fairy godmother he just off and left. The bartender letus know that Frank treated us and he owns the Port of Call. Intrigued and wanting to thank this mystery person, we figured heck let 's give him some business and made our way to the Port of Call. Frank Guido does not need our business, nor did he need tobuy us a round to get more patrons in his restaurant. That place was pumping! It had energy and life and all of this was at 6pmon a Saturday. I can 't imagine the excitement later on in the evening, at that beautiful spot overlooking the river. We ate atthe bar, had a few beers and the best oysters, perfectly sized and well priced. For us, this place was a little gem and if Frankis reading this, thanks for that free round! What a way to advertise the wonderful Port of Call!

Great waterfront restaurant, in the Catskill Creek. From the same owners as Mariners Harbor. Really fresh and delicious seafood as well as great steaks. Don?t be afraid to ask for a vegan option, the kitchen I made a pasta and vegetable dish for me which was delicious, although it was not on the menu. Great wine list and delicious drink specials. We had a wonderful time and look forward to going back again!
