This delightful family-owned restaurant has a lot to offer. The owners are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The food is absolutely wonderful! We visit frequently whenever we have a craving for Chinese takeout. You can't go wrong with the chicken wings, pork fried rice, chicken and broccoli, or General Tso's chicken.
I ordered from this restaurant for the first time and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience. We live in Saugerties, just 15-20 minutes away, close to the Catskill border. They were kind enough to take our order at 9:45 PM, even though they close at 10, and I informed them we'd be arriving in about 20 minutes. When we arrived, the staff was extremely friendly and generous with the sauces—something that isn’t always the case at some of our regular spots. The food was excellent, and I can definitely see this becoming our go-to place for Chinese food. Thank you!
Overall, it was a decent experience. The Mongolian beef had great flavor, but I felt it missed the mark on the crispy texture of the beef. The wonton soup, on the other hand, had an off taste and wasn’t anything memorable.
We picked up some food to take out. While I waited, the family who runs it got into a fight. Father and daughter were yelling at each other in English and Chinese. The food was awful. The vegetable noodles tasted of fish. The sweet and sour chicken was bearable drenched in sauce. But everything landed in the trash after a few bites.
