I... read more The staff was welcoming and pleasant. The food was of high quality, well-cooked, and freshly delicious! The decor is tasteful, creating a lovely environment. I appreciated the menu suggestions for swapping items to reduce calories. I have only two minor observations: our waitress initially overlooked our starter, but that was corrected quickly, and there were no salt and pepper shakers on our table. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, when were arrived we chose a table in the bar area as we had a small dog with us (always well behaved). We had 4 main courses which we didnt really have to wait long for. The service was great and the food was amazing. For around £53 with a couple of pints it was really good value the portions were huge. There is also an outside seating area with umbrellas overlooking the cricket green but it was rainIng heavily today so we sat inside. I would recommend you visit, we will definately be back soon. T... read more Came here for a Sunday lunch with the family today and we were very pleased with the service and the food. Jess, our waitress, was lovely, polite and helpful. The roast dinner was absolutely amazing (we all said better than Toby Carvery!! the roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings were 10/10 so thank you to the fantastic chefs, Jodie and Will. We used to visit this pub regularly years ago but we stopped as we noticed a decline but since it has been taken over we thought we would give it another go and it did not disappoint! We will certainly be back for another meal in the near future :
