The s... read more Pros: Downtown core Meals are large. Steaks were well done. Large selection of wine and beer. Beers from all over the world and local beers. Easy to find. The staff is nice and you can see the owner or manager who is also a nice person. Cons: Steak was a medium, although I was rarely asked. Pastas were a little bland. Food for thought: You sell horse steaks. I still prefer beef steak.

Big plus on the oth... read more Somewhat hidden in a narrow street there is Old Wood. Like someone else mentioned the outside place is big enough but lacks real atmosphere. Big plus on the other hand is it's offer of beers; there is a lot. It also has a very extended choice of pizzas. And whatever pizza you will chose: it is BIG. Also with a lot of ingredients, maybe just a little too much.

The indoor area boasts brick and stucco walls with shelves of spent beer and wine bottles. The outdoor space features simple table and chair settings. They offer about 12 draught beers and a few more in bottles, all with an emphasis on classic Belgian style ales. The food is generous portions, well-made and cooked superbly in their brick oven. The service was quite attentive on both visits, though we went at off-peak hours. This is certainly worth the visit if you are in the area searching for pizza and good beer.

The photo of my main course is after I placed most of it in my togo container, but it was the grilled beef with potatoes grilled vegetables; completely phenomenal I very suggest to order this dish if you like beef! Thank you for an unforgettable experience, during my first time in Italy!!!!
