Wow. What a meal. I wasn’t expecting that. It was perfect. The red tuna might have been the best fish I’ve ever eaten. The service was fantastic and the wine pairing was on point. I noticed that their site had no availabilities, on other booking sites there were quite a few. If you plan on going, just make sure to try all the different options. It is so very worth it. What RachelinNYC doesn't like about Km.0:
The food was just not good. Everything was both over complicated and off. They served salted cod with a purée that included pear and tasted like baby food. Gnocchi was cloying sweet and mushy in a puréed sauced that was also much. Octopus was chewy and again paired with a sweet pomegranate. The restaurant was trying hard but just miss after miss. They would have been better pairing back the dishes and executing them... View all feedback.
Local in the central area but not too touristy (near the botanical garden) proposes a kitchen where genuine ingredients are revisited with creativity m without excess and overturning. we enjoyed a dinner balanced by the delicious revisitation of the poodle that constituted the opening up to the degotation of sweets, passing through excellent dishes of cooked and raw fish, including the excellent tuna belly with burrata. in line with the quality the price.
We ate very well from km excellent the norm as well as the tuna belly, dish of the day. I recommend the degotation of sweets. wines to the chalice euro for a bottle that costs it is an exaggeration).

Very good food we tried the four courses tasting menu. Service was really good and the price not so very high compared with what you get for it. Definitely worth trying if you want a gourmet dinner in Catania.
The brothers running the restaurant dedicated the place to the great concept of using local ingredients for all their dishes and also the drinks they serve. And they manage to do this with lots of creativity and in style. The interior makes a really nice impression the moment the guest steps in with well arranged tables and a well lit yet atmospheric space. The menu is heavy on seafood as the terroir indicates but meat dishes can also be found. Every day there are some daily special dishes such as the sea urchin and ricotta spaghetti in the picture, which did come with the most al dente pasta ever tasted yet it does soften a bit in the sauce. The local fish soup was a highlight as were the home baked breads. The extensive wine list is served with thought by the sommelier but nothing could top the welcome cocktail, the Etna in Gin with liquore al bergamotto.
