There are many daily cooked dishes along with Kebab and Black Sea style pide(stuffed bread) oven baked. Hunkar beyandi (cooked to perfection meat chunks on a bed of mashed eggplant) kuru fusulye (white beans and meat over cooked) zafraan Pilav (zafraan steamed rice) Hashlama (a light soup with big chunks of meat and potatoes) and karalahana corba (Churd and beans soup) are fantastic. It is a must tried if you are in the old town. Ambiance is clean and friendly. Service is quick and hosts are very kind and helpful. We tried Sherbat, a traditional drink made out of compost of blackberry and cinnamon, totally refreshing and very pleasant after. A full meaty lunch. There are some vegetarian dishes available too. Perfect for big gathering and casual dining. Lunch menu has various dishes and they serve tea with some sweet dishes after the meal. Value for money. Totally recommended specially if you want to know more about Turkish cuisine.
