I can recommend the corn fritters - fresh, crisp, accompanied by avocado, fetta and rocket. For lovers of soy coffee, the only let down is they don't use Bonsoy. Located in central Casuarina in the shopping complex, the café offers indoor and outdoor seating if you don't mind the road. Lots to choose from - either a snack or a meal. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Baker's Cafe:
Have spent tons of money at this place. Today I arrived at 2:03pm for lunch and was turned away because the kitchen closes at 2pm! For lunch! Hopefully a new cafe opens across the road, terrible service. View all feedback.
As this is a bakery you know that the food is cooked fresh on site. From lovely pastries to more substantial quick meals. The service is quick and the food fresh. Served outside in a lovely patio setting. Near to the local Coles Supermarket and...not far from the beach.
Staying in the area and saw the sign for bacon egg roll, thought it was worth a try. It was awful! Pre-made in the fridge and warmed up, the egg went all strange from reheating! The fruit toast also was stale and not...warm and coffee wasn't very good either. Definitely wouldn't bother trying for breakfast! Tucker across the road was amazing the day before so go there instead
Great food and coffee!! However, every time I have visited this place it feels as if my presence is a burden to the girls behind the counter. I feel unwelcome and have not seen them smile once over the last year I have been visited...or been welcomed with even a simple ‘how are you?’. Have spoken to other people and they have said the same! In the future I will be taking the extra time to drive elsewhere.
This establishment is good for coffee, bread and cakes. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the value for money very good.
We breakfasted here a few times across our stay and enjoyed it every time. The pies are also excellent. The staff are really very lovely. A great little local.
