I booked online and it was confirmed : Booking for 4 for the "$34 Lunch Special Chef's Selection".We were seated and gave our drink order and told the waitress... read more I booked online and it was confirmed : Booking for 4 for the "$34 Lunch Special Chef's Selection".We were seated and gave our drink order and told the waitress that we had booked the Banquet. All was good for a count of 10 then another water approached, whispered in her ear, and she turned to us and said, sorry but you get the 4 dish $24 deal (not mentioned anywhere!!).We weren't told why we couldn't have what we were booked in for.We weren't re-offered the menu so that we could choose al la carte.We were told what we could have, no explanations, no choices.The Special were were given was not special. It was not good value.

Ok ,I have to say the Spice Den rarely dissapoints , It gets incredibly busy on the weekends and I see why ,its really good food ,the service and the waitresses... read more Ok ,I have to say the Spice Den rarely dissapoints , It gets incredibly busy on the weekends and I see why ,its really good food ,the service and the waitresses are above average ,they are warm and friendly , even under pressure.Without any doubt I would highly reccomend the Spice den .We have now been half a dozen times and feel a lot like a regular , consistant in service and great Thai food.Its a winner.

We came back for dessert to salvage our eveni... read more Please forgive us, Spice Den. For staying there, for walking past you, for going instead to Kobkunka Thai instead. We came back for dessert to salvage our evening. Beautiful, beautiful restaurant, service was super friendly and classy and the diners around us had aesthetically pleasing food with wonderful aromas. Restaurant was still at 80% capacity at 9 pm and ppl were clearly enjoying their dining experiences. Our absolute loss for not eating dinner here. Will have to make another trip in the near future. Dessert was a visually pleasing and dammed delicious. Thank you for the short, but lovely experience.
