Best food on my Camino. 400 years old and the service perfect. Will be more than happy to return. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Stumbled in here whilst walking the Camino de Santiago. Staying somewhere without a pilgrim meal and most of the village seemed closed. Even this place seemed uninviting, with a dark entrance to the small bar area. Behind this is a medieval dining room and luckily for us the €15 menu featured the usual soup, plus some delicious, juicy grilled chicken and a very drinkable bottle of vino tinto. Seems a shame that business is slow these days, but would recommend for a set meal if you're passing through.
I am walking on Camino the Santiago. I went in this Restaurante which was supposed to offer a Menu for Pilgrim. I asked about the Menu. A person which was supposed to be the tender of the place answered me ugly, lightly representing, that they do not have. I was asking to get the Menu to understand their own alternative offer and this ultimately unpolite Tender turn out himself without any answer. What else?
01/22/2023 We enter the premises for lunch and they tell us that they only have cooked. We agree. The stew consisted of a tureen with broth (only broth), and a tray with some chickpeas, some cabbage, a piece of what looked like ear, three pieces of rice blood sausage (with a sour flavor), three pieces of chorizo and some boiled potatoes cooked at least three days ago. When we asked for the bill, he charged us €20 per person. A robbery, given the quantity and quality of the food. Hall not cleaned for years. We were the only customers. It doesn't surprise me. Never to return.
