Yogurt Deluxe - Castro Valley

I absolutely love this frozen yogurt place! The staff is always friendly whenever I visit. They charge based on the cup size rather than weight, and you can add two toppings for just $1.15. They fill the cup halfway with yogurt, add your toppings in the middle, and then top it off with more yogurt to ensure the toppings stay in place. They're very generous with their servings, and I can't wait to come back soon!

Flavors are rich and serving sizes are generous. Pricing is also good too. Overall, very good quality.

I never seek out frozen yogurt (froyo as I 'm not a big fan of the sour, tart or tangy taste. So when my sister mentioned wanting to get some froyo I was not enthused about going. Yogurt Deluxe is located in the Safeway shopping Center on E Castro Valley Blvd to the farthest left of the strip mall. Sister was expecting a self-service type of spot where you pay by the weight. This is a place your order and the person will make your order with toppings you request (additions from nuts, popping boba, fruit, gummies, etc. First visit, I opted for the caramel, fudge and pecan sundae (they have about 12 different sundaes but skipped the fudge....pecans were fresh, the frozen yogurt was the perfect texture and flavor and topped with yummy caramel. You can also get flavored frozen yogurt that are tart, low-fat, nonfat, no sugar added and carbolite which pure yogurt and whey, low calorie, fat and cholesterol free for those with dietary restrictions. Definitely a return visit as their froyo reminds me of The Country 's Best Yogurt (TCBY when I was a kid....gentleman working the counter was friendly, and great stop for the 10-year old niece who saw cotton candy and pineapple froyo! Then you add all her options...and sheesh, well a happy camper....and yes, the flavors were delicious but a small size will be sufficient next time! 3 tables inside, 2 outside...plenty of lot parking.

I love this yogurt shop. They have the best sundaes, the owner is super nice, generous portions, clean shop and decent prices.

Awesome flavors and awesome staff! Will definitely be added to our family go to places. The rocky road is soooooo yummy! Place is easy to find and with tons of parking.
