Sadly the sales rep working the store front picks and chooses who she wants to acknowledge and help. I looked around the entire store and took my time to see what I wanted. I was the only person in there. She even made nice with people passing by who was not in the store. Because I was ignored, I decided I will not spend my money at a place who can 't even say hello. Interesting selections. Plus I see they have alcohol ice cream which tasted very boozy. Must try!!?
Great ambiance, there was a good live band. Plenty of tasty wines and they have delicious bitings.

We go to their happy hour and just love the ambiance of their downstairs lounge.
We usually only come here for special events where they do a set menu and wine pairing. Last one we went to was Hawaiian themed with a live band playing Xmas music island style. We always have a good time. It's usually fairly intimate and each dinner has about 20-25 guests. Just follow Castro Valley Marketplace on social media to get notified about these events.
