Wonderful kitchen turns out beautiful and delicious entrees, perfect moist cod and fresh tomatos, best linguini al vongole, perfect Vitello filet with three peppers. Restaurant is habit forming. Great easy jive. Mellow molto!

The view is outstanding, sittin... read more During the summer months, they serve pizza outside on a massive deck that appears to double as a sunbathing spot during the day. The view is outstanding, sitting just above the rocks over the ocean. Service was good and pizza was delicious. This area closed around Sept. 10, 2015, as the summer vacation crowds left. But if you are there during the tourist season, the view alone is worth it. We also had drinks at the hotel bar, which also had a good view of the ocean.

The seafront location looked amazing so we pleaded for a table which they gave us even though we hadn't a reservation. After discussions with Alessandro our waiter we ordered carpaccio and a meze type starter with pasta vongole mains for the kids and grilled fish for two for my wife and I. The starters were pretty ordinary and the kids commented that the carpaccio didn't seem very fresh. However the real disappointment came with the main course. They served the pasta vongole first and it wasn't very hot. There were no condiments on the table and we couldn't find a waiter to bring pepper. Then they brought the fish for two on a single plate and simply left it. No one offered to fillet the fish, there was no second plate for my wife and no accompaniments (vegetables, potatoes anything! I wouldn't have minded filleting the fish myself but they hadn't provided any plate to put the bones on. After staring at the fish for awhile we decided to try and call a waiter. They then explained that this was a very special fish and that this was only the second one caught this year so they didn't want to pollute the experience with any other flavours. I asked if they could fillet our special fish then and give us plates so we could eat it. By the time we had the fish in front of us the children had all finished their food, it was not very hot and we found our special fish had been slightly overdone. Also eating the very large fish of more than 1 kilo without any other taste sensation was too much. This really spoiled are evening because we were made to feel as if we had been unreasonable for asking for vegetables to go with our fish. While the fish may not have been special, the price certainly was! We were charged euro 233 for the meal of which the fish was euro 77. Not going back there again despite the lovely view!
